Driveshaft Puzzle
here is the deally..... i have a turbo2 tranny(A) with a N/a manual rear end(B). how do i get point A to B without buying the rear of a t2?

This is what I'm going to do.....was informed by a member from teamfc3s.com
Get a Turbo II driveshaft and a Turbo II diff. flange....I guess the only thing that makes the TII driveshaft not fit is that the flange is bigger, so you take the n/a flange and the TII flange to a local machine shop, have them machine the TII flange to the size of the n/a one.

Personally, I would recommend just pulling the rear subframe from a junkyard TII. Then you will have the stronger differential and halfshafts, too.
It is probably best to buy a new driveshaft no matter what you choose, as the orginals are all pretty much shot at this age.

this is probably a dumb question but how much should i expect to pay? at a driveline shop... t2 junkyard cars are rare here i need a working car
