Downpipe Q...
Does anybody out there wrap their downpipe with heat wrap? Is it really that good? I've searched but, could never find any definitive answers as to whether it helped power or cabin temps.

I did it to mine, I don't really care about hp gains yada yada all I care is getting my engine bay temps down thus getting my intake temps cooler thus further guarding me from detonation with excessive intake temps. But this is just me and I've been known to do dumb things

I guess I'll be doing the same then. I should have my new exhaust coming in tomorrow and all the other parts in the next week or so. I'll let ya'll know what the difference is.

I heat wrapped my Downpipe for lower Engine bay Temps, and also to help prevent the loss of heat, thus energy, from the exaust gasses. When exaust gasses cool down they slow down, and that is bad.
