Door handles and lock cylinder

Door handles and lock cylinder
I am having trouble getting the lock cylinders out to recode to match my keys.
I'm kinda new when it comes down to mechanical work on the sevens.
Anyone got any tips?
I got one bolt off from the inside after I took the interior on the door out.
So right now it is loose but I still can't figure it out =/

Once the handles are out, it is just a clip to pull the lock cyl.

Oh, just pull the nuts on the handles (two 10mm) then pop the handle and get to the C clip.
They really are very simple to pull and then you can clean the door handle gasket which always gets nasty after a while.
And the time you wasted trying to get them in the door (and then trying to put the C clip back on in the door) will be much longer than if you just pulled the handle and remove the C clip and lock cyl on your work bench.

You need to pop the black plastic access cover to get one, then roll the window down for the other.

You don't have to have the door panel on, just the switch plugged in.
Or if you don't have a switch, get a power drill battery (like a makita or the like) and jumper the wires at the power window motor.

The nuts are the only thing holding the handle in place.

Depending on the model, you can have a key hole light and a key cyl switch for the electrical (or none of the above, or just one of the above) as well as a door release rod and a door lock rod.

taken out the handles.
it had like 2 clips looking things on it and the wires for the keyhole light.
I got them rekeyed to match my key, works great. Thing is, I broke one of the clips used to open the door on the pasenger side door. So i'm in need of 1 clip lol.
