Hey dude you probably just got unlucky. Just like how lots of people get unlucky with DSMs. Most RX7s are pretty reliable, but some do have shitloads of problems that usually stem from one or two things. You just got a bad apple buddy.

Mabye if someone took the time to learn about thier car, gave it some TLC, and understood that it is an 11 YEAR OLD CAR, then mabye you would not have this problem. I agree, if you have such a problem with our passion, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN ONLINE RIGHT NOW? Go play with your TSi. My 91 is in great shape, and I am sorry you feel this way. Mabye one day, you will be ready for a real car...

First, lose the caps. IT'S IRRITATING TO BE SHOUTED AT.
Second, I would talk so much shiz about RX-7s being slow. There's a reason the TSi and TSi AWD aren't competitive in motorsport - namely weak transmissions and a front-loader drivetrain setup. And "THERE TRANS SUCK"??? Are you nuts, boy? You wanna talk about crappy trannies, let's ask some TSi AWD guys...
Third, RX-7s are wonderful cars, but they're not idiot-proof (you go ahead and interpret that any way you'd like). You've got to maintain them, and drive them correctly. You bought a used RX-7 and had problems? Chances are the previous owner didn't take care of it, and you just don't know enough about them to fix the problems. In fact, I think I'll pop on over to the DSM forums...
"I JUST BOUGHT A 91 TALON AND ITS ECU DIED AND THEN ITS TURBO DID, AND THEN AFTER I SPENT $4000 FIXING THEM, IT MADE THIS POPCORN SOUND AND MY ENGINE DIED. WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO BUY SUCH CRAPPY CARS?"
Idjit.
Icemark: Uhm, well, not really, but there were some complete-option 91s that were labelled as GXLs by the dealer.

ok i wont complain if you give it to me and it blows an engine. i will just put a new one in. if you are smart enough you can do it all yourself.... like me. and i dont know about them blowing engines all the time cuz last time i checked my 87 is running strong about ready to hit 200K
so hand it over and stop your bitching. i promise i wont complain when it kicks over. all it takes is intelligence and patience, neither of which you seem to exude
