My girl loves the FC. I was considering buying an FD for a while too, but SHE talked me out of it, said she liked the FC better. She also helps me buy mods and stuff. Yup...shes a keeper.
The other girls i have dated before my g/f also liked the FC, they used to say it was like a video game. (I think thats a compliment)

I believe a lot of girls are more into the price of the car. If you had a BMW or Mercedes, cha ching... It will be raining girls, unless you're one ugly sob. Some girls, prob most girls, don't care about under the hood, mostly how it looks. My ex told me my rex was a pos, loud and ugly, and to get rid of it. I told her "hey you're loud and ugly too, but i'm still dating you." Yeah yeah it was an awesome night My rex will always be my bitch, and i'll never depart from her

My GF loves to work on cars..She always helps me out and has way more patience than me. I bought the 87 a few weeks ago and she helped me do the bodywork before sending it to the paintshop. She is also a great detailer..

As far as this car...she said it's the first car that she drove that's "begging to be driven fast". She likes it...

She likes my 81 vette.."looks like it wants to be driven faster" . She says the FC is a smooth running car..and the vette feels like your stitting on the engine ..rougher idle and ride...

later..

My gf hasn't seen my FC in person yet. I think my FC is possessive of me b/c it would always act up when my ex was in the car. Like shooting flames, chirping tires and going sideways around minor turns.

I showed my gf a picture I had of my FC, from my website, and told her it is in the body shop to be painted next week. GM 94 Torch Red. She is more excited than I am to get the girl out and running. She is all about high speed twisties. Can't wait to take them both out on a date!

My, um, wife loves my FC, except she hates all of the money that gets spent on it... but she knows it makes me happy, so she's cool with it.

She actually wants a 10th AE, and I'm about ready to buy one for her. She loves 'em....

We share the same view on FDs... BLAH!!! FD = me no like.

Aside from my car being red, my gf loves the FC. Evertime i get under some hefty boost she says she feels like its gonna take off in to tha air, lol. When my motor blew i said something about putting a v8 in it, and she was vehemently opposed. She told me that no rx7 should be without a rotary. She is always asking to just go driving. She dosen't get scared either when we go through the twisties hard, but she does when i am in my dad's 96 vette (which handles MUCH better). She says that my car is made for that and so it just feels right. She also does not understand where all my money goes, but i just keep assuring her that the more money i spend the more fun it will be from the passenger seat

Car people always talk crap about me using the Prelude rims, but I got most of the compliments after I changed the white pizza cutter rims to something newer looking. If people didn't know the wheels were from a Prelude (and most girls don't) they could appreicate how they update the look of the car.

But I'm sure the hot car factor is wayy higher in an FD.
awe man the white rims are one of the things that make a tenth ann.
so awesome!

My girlfriend doesn't like it, not enough room to fool around. Am I the only one with this problem ? Where is a VW Westfalia when you need one.

im still in High school and i get comments on my car ALLLL the time. Everyone is astonished when i tell them how much i got it for. My girl also does the 'grab anything thats stationary' when i start to have a little fun ...but she yells at me when i start going too fast cuz she's been in 2 accidents herself =(. She (+ everyone else) think that my car is 'soo sexy' and they 'love' it. It just sux because of the jealousy factor too...1400 rims...and 0 dollars for her...but thast what she gets for being cheap when i buy her a $450 audio system and she gets me **** She has a '93 probe GT and she made me ride in it w/ her a total of: 2 times because she loves ridin in the rex

The bigger question is:

How many of you have gotten an ex because of your car

Jeff

I am still searching for a girl that knows something about cars, I couldn't stand all the things other girls have said. " It's too loud " "the ride is too hard" " I don't like seatbelts going over both my shoulders" " I can't move in this seat." One girl asked me what I do for fun, I said nothing and did a nice drift around a corner, going way in the other lane with her screaming the whole time. I then pulled over and said lets get out and talk, we both got out, than I got back in and drove off. Mwahahaha Girls don't know ****. I felt bad after so I came back and took her home. Needless to say I didn't here from her again. Good.

Yeah, my fiance would probably hate my car if I took her drifting in it. But oh well, she likes it now, and she doesn't know I'm going to give it to her next year, I did tell her she has to learn how to drive it, so I think she has some weird ideas going on in her head. Oh well, hope she appreciates all the damn work I put into that thing!

yeah, my fiancee likes it, she asked me if it'd be ready in time for our wedding so we could drive away in it

Mainly I think she likes it because she knows I like it, and she likes it when I actually find something that I like. Get it?

Barwick: yeah, that's the same with my girl too! She likes things that make me happy, but I think she likes the car itself too. Hopefully she won't blow it up on me!

my girlfriend doesnt hate the car itself. she hates that i give it more attention than her. i actually told her one day that it

"doesnt complain about anything, especially when i look at other cars, i can ride it as hard as i want and it wont yell at me, and when i have to spend time with you, it doesnt give a long sigh and try to make me feel bad"

she didnt like that explanation too much, i must say.

Well, I definatly don't think my car will ever get more attention than my girl. However, I am going to look at other cars! Not other girls, not intrested there. And sometimes I like it when my girl complains, I like knowing when somethings about to break, unlike the car where, no warning and snap, there goes something!

I think his girfriend was behind him when he made that message!!

Girls like my car, they NEVER know what it is... but like the leather, and always asks why it's so loud. (oh well) Usually, they like no brainers like Mustangs and Camaros. (Pretty fast and cushy)
The big problem with the 7 is the lack of a roomy back seat!
Though I actually think the reclined passenger seat is more comfortable than most back seats anyways!
Well, enough of that....

Whenever we're in a fight my girlfriend always starts out about how I spend more time on "that f*cking car" than with her!

She likes it though, and always comments on how she should be "wearing that engine on her finger"!! Hmm...

I scare the crap out her though, but she doesn't soil the seat as much as she used too.. she is developing confidence.

She wants to learn how to drive it, she's tried, but the car is a bitch to drive smoothly with the clutch I have in it.

She ALWAYS tries to race me in her 2001 Civic.... though she knows it pointless!
She loves racing though!
Oh- the best part? She thinks lowered, ghetto-ized Hondas are butt ugly!!
Thats my baby! (Umm, my girl too! )

My GF loves my vert....she likes riding in it, and likes to drive it (I am teaching her to drive stick in my subaru & in it). Loves having the top down on a sunny summer day, and having her hair blow around......likes how it looks, drives and handles.

But then again I have a really cool GF.

She doesn't know too much about cars, but really wants to learn how to work on them and drive hard, and Auto-X, so she will become a convert as well.

New girlfriend....guess what she drives!

Almost a year ago I did some computer work for this girl. We were both flirting with one another. Eventually she invited me to go to a party one day. Guess what she showed up in...... a 91 black vert. I met her outside and was shocked.....I told her to back up a few feet and said look over to your right to see my car. She busted up laughing and said....well...I see you have good taste in cars. I thought it was so ironic. I never asked what she drove.
