Sorry, I've never seen a jspec engine .......but I've seen enough posts on this site concerning jspec problems with the reversed fuel rails that , that issue comes to ming.

Just take the ten minutes out to swap the two hoses and have a go at it. I think to identify the jspec from the American would require removal of the upper intake to see which way the feed and return lines are running. Theres a picture in the fsm that shows the routing of the fuel in an USA car. There is also somewhere on this site the routing of the japspec engine.. somewhere.

Oh, its easy to prove! Just insert the fuel pump check connectors jumper, turn the key to ON, then remove what is supposed to be the RETURN line off the engine. If there is no flow of fuel......they're crossed. I'm *fairly sure* that would be the result of a crossed line.

okay, this may seem like a stupid question, but the FSM is not clear on this at all.. should the fuel filter side (input from fuel pump) be connected on the right or the left.. another way to say it: should the fuel be flowing to the pulsation dampner first or after the secondary rail?

I'd believe that it's supposed to go the pulsation dampner (primary rail) first, then return after going through the secondaries.. am I right?

Okay, to close this thread: I'm not sure exactly what fixed the predicament.. I did everyone's advice I took out the primary injectors, and connected 12 v and ran some low PSI air through it (~10Psi), and rechecked all the connections, and ran that ground under the throttle body to the firewall, well, added a big-assed wire to ground to the firewall, so i know have fuel inside my engine And I did both connections to the fuel system (American and Jspec), it is american. It's still not turning over, but i'm starting a new thread, as now i think i'm having trouble with either timing or spark..

thank you guys for helping me get the injectors firing
