Does this look right? I’m still not sure

Okay Is this where the “crankcase” breather line goes on a TII? I have asked this before .. but no one took the 3 ½ minutes it takes to go out in the garage and look for me to be sure.

I took off my intercooler today to change a couple of vacuum lines and there was a little bit of liquid oil in the inlet of the IC. Now the engine is brand new.. about 700 miles on it, and the turbo was done by BNR .. I have not even hit boost yet … so I am wondering if I that breather is hooked up right. The car does not seem to be smoking at all .. can someone please peek at there TII for me .. and confirm my hookup.

Thx,
Robert

I am also running a high flow oil pump & and 80 PSI Oil pressure regulaor .. I wonder isf this has any effect.

Well it goes from ... the metal breather stud on the intermediate housing .. I am not sure what you call the other part I have it plugged into. I ended up hooking up a long hose to that conector in the first pic .. I tried to blow air through it .. and it did'nt go through well at all. So I said *** it .. even if that is the right spot .. it can't be breathing very good. So I went down to wallmart at 2am last nite .. (it was bugging me, so I couldn't sleep) and this is what I have devised for the time being.

everyone listen up...

There are 2 crankcase vent niples on the oil fill tube. THis goes for t2's adn na's. ONe is located right above teh block, on the int. iron, and has a hose running to the firewall, where it connects to a metal hose which runs over to the charcoal canister. The other, will be closer to the oil fill cap, is usually connected to the purge valve. a couple of vacuum diagrams show that upper nipple getting connected to the charcoal canister at teh firewall, and the lower nipple being connected to the purge valve.

One way or another, each engine has 2 nipples, one of which gets connected to the purge valve, and one of which gets connected to the firewall-->charcoal canister line.IT isnt rocket science, and it isnt that important really, as long as at least one of the 2 is left vented. IF you leave the upper one vented to atmosphere, its damn unlikely that anything will ever get throw out of it, since itd take a lot of force to move any volume of oil out the tube.
