Does FC have power assisted steering?

What model? The Base I believe did not. Mine does it is a sport. I have a GXL for parts and it has power steering also. If you want to make it a manual steering car look for the thread that was on hear a lil while ago it has a good write up in it. OR you could buy a manual rack fro a yard Proly like 1-200 or Victoriabritish for like 3-400.

They can come with power steering... and I think the 86-88 can have speed controlled power assist while 89+ have RPM controlled.

86-87 Base models and 87-88 T2 models had vehicle speed sensitive steering as an option. All other US spec 86-88 models had speed sensitive steering standard.
All US spec 89-92 models came standard with engine speed sensitive steering, with the 89-91 T2 comeing with the better vehicle speed sensitive steering standard.
