Ditched the AFM, but...
not sure if the car was running way rich/lean since it just stumble like hitting a breakwall at around 5000rpm. I had the plunger pushed in all the way to simulate a 4 volt signal to the stock ecu(pending an aftermarket ems). It ran kinda good from 3-5k but felt on its knees after that. I'm running 550cc injectors for the 2ndaries on my NA so it shouldn't be leaning out right?

what the hell man? If your running 550's w/ a stock ecu your asking for trouble right there I would say. BTW how the **** can your ecu operate w/out an afm. Do you have an aftermarket ecu or what? If you dont, hook the afm back up right now thats the most important signal for the ecu for gods sake!

what the hell are you thinking? YOU NEED THE AFM!!! How the hell is the ECU suppose to know how much air is running in? And how is your 7 even running? Are you forcing it by gasing it?!!!

Wow you guys are so foolish to think I'm running like this from now on. Any 3 cylinder Yugo or metro woulda kick my *** by now. Think before you guys write up any stupid remark like that. The afm was put back on 2 minutes after the failed test run at high rpm. Why don't you guys ask before assuming(like making an *** out of yourselves.)

Ok noob. You need the AFM, it's part of the fuel control system.
Everyone is calling you a moron, because you are. You're taking things off of the car that you don't know what their function is. If you want to get rid of the AFM you need a stand-alone ECU w/ RPM spacific settings for the fuel.
You know, you can save a lot of weight by removing your alternator. I bet the rotating assembly weighs a lot too...

ebay7, why are you getting so upset, youre the genius who thinks running without an afm is okay, or using your hand? what do you do, steer with one hand, shift with the other and push down the plunger with your tongue?

Man some of you guys only read 2% of what I wrote. For the last time, this was just a TEST(in 1st gear only). I know about the goddam ems(the e6k, wolf,etc), and that's why I said "pending the ems" cuz I wanna to see how restrictive the afm was at high rpm before I throw down over $1000. During the test, the ecu was always getting a 4v signal. So I EXPECETED it to run shitty from 1-5krpm because it wanna see lower voltages. After that range, any car with the afm in place should see 4v signal when you floor it in 1st.
I shoulda listened to mazdatrix and pineapple racing, some of you guys are just plain....

You did sound like a dipshit in your first post, and no you still shouldnt run bigger injectors w/ a stock computer (you can though). Yeah sorry for not making it obvious, but that's no excuse for this kinda bullshit.
And for the last time, the ecu was getting more than enough rich signal from the plunger pushed all the way in. I just wanna simulate high rpm runs in 1st gear only and obviously the motor sucked in more air than thru the afm, causing it to stumble even with it running on 550 injectors. Obviously most of you are useless or you wouldn't be making idiotic assumptions.
One more point, if you can't answer that original post, stay the **** of MY Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
