Differential, transmission, and motor mounts
After doing some looking around, I found the following brands for mounts:
Differential - OEM, "competition" (Mazdatrix), solid rubber (Mazdatrix), and MAZDASPEED
Transmission - OEM, "competition" (Mazdatrix), solid rubber (Mazdatrix), and MAZDASPEED
Motor - OEM, "competition" (Mazdatrix), solid rubber (Mazdatrix), and MAZDASPEED
The OEM mounts are obviously the stock ones, competition are labeled as "stiff", solid rubber are "very stiff", and the MAZDASPEED are 35% stiffer than the OEM mounts. I know there is also the option of completely solid metal motor mounts, but I know those can be a bad idea because if they break, you're pretty much screwed, whereas the rubber ones can tear and still be alright until you put new ones in. Opinions?

That would make sense since it says the MAZDASPEED ones are 35% stiffer than stock, which would mean "stiff" to me. A solid rubber mount is classified "very stiff", which is probably like closer to 70% stiffer than stock. I'm debating going with the solid rubber mounts, mostly because the stiffer ride doesn't bother me, and I wouldn't have to worry about them breaking like a metal solid mount. I guarentee that I'd have a quick and tight power transfer to the ground with all solid rubber mounts.

when you say "solid rubber" from mazdatrix, are you referring to the racing ones? cause they're just straight plastic i mean..not cheap plastic, but that's how the guy over the phone referred to them

Yes, those are the mounts I'm refering to. It says that they are designed to eliminate mount breakage, and are solid mounts, but not as solid as metal mounts. I think those are the ones I'll probably go with since I don't care about vibrations, and don't want solid metal mounts that can break. How bad is the vibration really going to be? Anyone ever used those mounts before?

I've got the Mazda Comp mounts all around and am quite happy, stiffer than stock for sure, but they don't noticably increase NVH. I'd reccomend them, and would shy away from plastic mounts on anything but a pure race car.

Yea, I want something stiffer than stock also. It says that the way the solid mounts are setup is so that they eliminate mount breakage, like the way a solid metal mount would. I'm thinking that they shouldn't break just because they are plastic, if they even are trully "plastic." I'm going to give Mazdatrix a call tomorrow about them.

I've used the comp engine, tranny, and front diff mounts, and was happy with them. The fact that they're not solid also made it easier to install, especially with the tranny mounts (when I flex the mount in order to get the stud lined up with the hole).

Yea, I talked to the guy at Mazdatrix about the mounts also. He said that usually solid metal mounts don't have a problem with breaking as long as you don't do a ghetto weld job. That's making me wonder if I should go with solid metal mounts maybe instead of the solid plastic ones. The MAZDASPEED ones don't seem bad either, being 35% stiffer than OEM. The nice thing about the plastic ones is that they are pretty cheap. The extra vibration isn't going to bother me, but I don't wanna worry about launching the car hard and having the possibility of the mount breaking clean on me...

The only thing I'm wondering now is if the plastic solid mounts will have too much vibration. Also, are there any other companies that sell the mounts?

I searched Yahoo! and it looks like those "solid rubber" mounts I was talking about are the MMR mounts. If you order them from MMR directly the set is only 122 dollars. I think that's the way I may go.
I did some looking at the Noltec mounts also. They seem like a good combination because they are supposed to stiffen up under load, but not give the vibrations that solid mounts do. I'm wondering just how good these mounts are, because they AREN'T cheap (257 dollars), and this is just for the motor mounts. So, are they really worth the money?

Don't forget about Banzai Racing's polyurethane motor/tranny mounts.
I picked up a set new off a member. They look good and stuff, I haven't had a chance to install them however. So I can't give you much of an idea.
Also I use MMR for the rear differental mounts and a Mazdatrix mount for the front. Seems to be a winning combination.

Well, I was about to dig up some more information on motor mounts on here. I still haven't found crap about the Noltec mounts, but from what I have seen, they're along the lines of the Banzai Racing mounts, and seem to be about the same construction. I can't say much about them since I couldn't find much, so I won't include them for comparison at this time. I did some more reading on mounts, and came up with this for stiffness rating:
OEM > MAZDASPEED > MMR > Banzai Racing > Himni Racing
There's many people on here that are very happy with the MAZDASPEED (or Mazda Competition) mounts because they are stiff, but don't transmit vibrations to the chassis. Many people on here also use the MMR mounts because they are cheap but still decently stiff, but don't transmit as much vibration was what a solid metal mount. The Banzai Racing mounts seem like good quality too, but are going to transmit more vibration to the chassis than what the MMR mounts will because they have an aluminum top and bottom plate with polyurethane in the middle. The Himni Racing are a solid aluminum metal motor mount, so the vibration they transmit is going to be pretty extreme.
This is going to be a very tough call. I want a stiff mount, but I don't want headache causing vibrations. I know some people have said that it can be so bad that the car vibrates at idle enough to make the interior rattle and it gets very annoying. I like how you're going off peoples opinions to rate the mounts. That's something entirely subjective.
Buy the Mazda comp ones if you want stiffer or the Banzai. If you want a race mount, buy the MMR or something solid.
It's not that super complicated, just look at alot of the materials made.

I have the Delrin mounts from Mazdatrix, which have an aluminum center so they won't break. motor and tranny. the vibrations aren't that bad, and I use my car as a DD.
they did shake the nuts off of the mounting bracket studs tho, so I had to put loc-tight on em, no other problems tho

Ah, good to hear about the MMR mounts. I didn't figure they would be that bad for vibrations. I imagined that they would transmit a decent more then the stock rubber mounts, but wouldn't be so bad that it would be annoying. I'd imagine solid metal mounts would be unbearable for a daily car though. The Banzai ones don't seem too bad, but they are expensive, and seem like they'd probably about the same as the MMR mounts. For the price of Banzai motor mounts, you could buy the entire set of MMR mounts. I believe I'm going to go with MMR rear differential, motor, and transmission mounts and MAZDASPEED for the front differential mount. My last question here. Will I need new "Y" blocks or a new crossmember like it talks about on Mazdatrix's website? Here's a link:
