different rims for 5 lugs
I know I have seem many of people putting mustang rims on the FCs but what other rims have people played around with?
With a 5 on 4.5" it's pretty dang common lug pattern so I'm just wondering what else would fit.
Also I need to stay with a 15" rim. That way I can still get my rally tires for them.
any thoughts or ideas would be great.
thanks

the pattern is actually 5X114.3 mm 40 offset.
5X4.5 is sort of equivalent.
when going to a bigger tire you should factor in that the tire/wheel combo should be the same overall size so your speedometer won't give you a higher/lower reading.
say 215/50/15 would be about 225/45/17..
tons wheel threads on forum..try the wheel fitment thread.

yeah actually 114.3/25.4 (conversion for mm to inches) is 4.5".
and I'm not concerned at all about tire size or speedo correctness, I'm only concerned with rim fitment.
there are so many things out there like jeeps, chevy s10s, and a million other cars and trucks that have the 5X4.5". I'm just wondering what people have found that would clear brakes and fit ok on the cars.
and i'm going the opposite way then most people do, I'm sticking with 15s and going narrower.
i just figure i'm not the only one that has had there car apart and said, hmmm i wonder if the rims from a _______ will fit on here and tried it out.
