different question. how to make Red Line buzzer louder?

Hey I really like having the red lin buzzer and I use it alot when drifting.
but is there any way to make it louder? like maybe run more power to it.
or replace the factory buzzer with a different type of alert sound?!
thanx in advance

I'm interested in this as well...the previous owner pulled out all the sound deadening pad under the carpet, and the buzzer doesn't sound particularly loud over the soundof the engine... i.e. it doesn't do much good as a warning buzzer.

Hook the wire to the speaker to a relay and have a higher voltage come out of the relay, maybe you can test what voltage you'd like with a variable resistor.

Funny... a little mean... but certainly funny.... lol... But were they any FCs in the movie? I dont remember seeing any? Nevertheless... funny...

I would say just get a rev limiter, then you wouldnt need the buzzer and the rpm will just bounce b/c the ignition is being cut at a particular RPM. Buy one and set it at a "safe" rpm. Laterz

Replace it with a louder buzzer. Using the relay method would be good, too. Add a warning light.

it is just a 12 volt Peizo buzzer. You could relocate it to another place or get a louder peizo buzzer.

I actually tapped onto it and added a red LED on my speedo, that comes on when I exceed redline for a audio and visual indicator.
