Different ECU numbers??
Anyone know what the different 89+ ECU numbers mean?
I have a Canadian car, GXL, 5 speed. the ECU number is 351. I was going to swap it, but the replacement I got, from pp13bnos, says 350 on it.... Is this for Cali cars or something? Can I swap it is anyways without hurting anything?
Thanks.

From what I read on other posts, the 350's are for california and their emissions laws, and the 351 is for the rest of us, I could be wrong, but thats what I have read. My '89 GXL had a 351 in it.

I wonder if the acr might lose a tiny bit of power putting that in... considering Cali cars have stricter emmisions laws, and some cars programming sacrifices power because of it.
