So here is the story.

I crashed my car last season pretty hard and at the time - I was running a S4 TII Diff.

I also have my hands on a S5 TII Viscus diff that came off my spare car.

When I crashed, my Diff mount snapped in half ( the arms on the driver side snapped)

So the diff is still good, but it is in a housing for it is broken now.

Instead of trying to source a new S4 TII diff (which would be expensive and I am kinda short on time) would it be possible to swap that clutch type diff into a S5 Viscus pumpkin so I can bolt it up to the car?

I have both diffs out already, and the housings do look different, but if I pulled the diffs out... would it work?
