did some research on a s4 na to s5 turbo swap ...

so from what i gather is, if i buy a jdm t2 with tranny and all wiring/ecu etc ... and i wanted to run it in my s4 i would need to buy a s4 t2 wiring and sensors/front cover ? and one thing i didnt see was what ecu would i need to run my wiring harness from the chassis to the ecu ?

Posted here losts of times already. Simply:

Use S5 TII block, then you will need to source S4 TII sensors (you will pretty much toss or sell your s5 TII sensors). Use existing S4 N/A harness....

It would be much easier to keep everything within the same series since then you won't have to deal with the mix-matching series TII sensors (if you get an S4 TII engine, everything is there and ready).

Almost forgot, use S4 TII ECU and the S4 TII Front Cover since s4 uses a mechanical OMP vs. s5 it's electronic. (I hope you are starting to see what a hassle this is)

Simpler to just keep it in the same series unless your going to a full ems...

As the s4 ecu is programmed for 8.5 compression not 9.0.
