did i sell it for the right price?
im asking here because i want everyone who owns a rx7 to give an opinion.
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=704518
the car looks almost the same as the picture but has a matching turbo hood. do you guys think i should have made the price higher? im getting a decent amount of demand with 3500 and was wondering if i set the price too low. i have about 5 interested callers and 3 comming to check it out tonight.... MAN I RELLY DONT WAN TTO SELL HER... ESPECIALLY IF SHE IS WORTH MORE.
thanks

hers what the link says.
daym it might gone by tonight.... im going crazy, i know this is true love!!!
i dont want to sell her but i am forced to because i cannot take on two cars at the moment. its either this car or the 93 mr2 trubo and i thought long and hard about it and i almost sold the mr2. i hope i dont regret it.
info and specs
car is a black on black 1990 gxl with 83000 original miles, all stock (except trubo hood original black also), and unmolested. drives perfect except for noisy pilot bearing (i have everything to fix it).
exterior is about 7/10 some dents and chips (original black paint) never been in an accident CLEAR TITLE!
interior is about 9/10 because the a pillars cracked.
extra parts not installed
brand new kyb agx strut/shocks
everything for a tranny fix including extra stock flywheel pressure plate clutch, new pilot bearing T/O bearing tranny seal, all gasket and bushings for shifter, new master and slave cylinder and line, and i think some redline fuild somewhere not sure. never had the time to drop the tranny but never really had to becuase the noise didnt bother me.
extra set of new tires for the vert bbs wheels that are comming with the car
lots of good spare engine parts like tps alt pumps ect.
stock steel black and white hood if you want them.
lots of other parts in the garage i dont remember but you can have if you buy the car at asking price.
$3500 is starting price with the extra parts but i am willing to negotiate and i am a very reasonable guy. plus i know i will get lowballed.
reason for selling. if i could i wouldnt and i know i will regret it later but i cannot have two 2 seater maintained right now. i have to save up for more important things right now like a house and finishing school.

you're a bad salesman.
rule#1
GIVE YOURSELF BARGAINING ROOM.
You want 3.5K? ask for 4K.
Rule #2
never show you're desperate to sell.
rule#3
when you have multiple buyers: make sure you do not sell to the first guy with MONEY. If they want it then they need to offer more than the other guy.

ASK BEFORE YOU POST THE FOR SALE AD so you don't look like a douche seller that makes ppl drive out and then say no when they get there.

ok so i reschedule all the meetings so that i can figure this out. i do realized i rushed into this but i do somewhat need to sell it soon. i had 7 offers today (im really surprised on the demand, thanks to tokyo drift?) all offering something better then the next. i ended up with $4100 for just the car. i think that is a good deal???

If someone offered me $4100 for my car right now, I would take it without thinking twice. And mine is a TII.

thats true, but no one ever came to look at it, only schedule a meeting. plus i never raised the price it was the consumers who did, and i am not stupid to turn down money. if they really want it theres and *** for every seat.

When I was selling my N/A for 3,000,I was getting Offers of 1500 all day long. The problem was the People that were Offering that, wouldn't Get of their *** long enough to come down and LOOK AT THE CAR!..I got one guy to come down to see it,after I told him that If he does,he won't be disappointed..I had over 4,200 in it...I sold it for 2100 out of desperation.I was told I had to move from where I was living and the car had to go,due to no room at the new place.Otherwise the car would still be here..it was a Friggin Good car!..I miss it!

lol, "obo" doesnt necessarily mean the best price lower than my asking price. now if they came to check out the car and then i changed the price on them, that would be wrong.
