I don't know where the pic is, but I think you are talking about the thermowax thing with the yellow tube sticking out. Cars with auto trannys should have 3 vaccuum lines. manual tranny cars should have 2. My car has an auto tranny but the engine came from a car with a manual, and it works fine, so I think it can be used on either one. Its all the same 13B motor.
Hailers, the ground I was talking about is for the fuel injector circuit. I don't know why the thing makes spark out of the car but no spark in the car. He has tried different crank angle sensors though, so I don't think the inside of the CAS is bad. It wasn't bad when I sent it to him.

I don't know what year you have, but see if it will give you a code. You have to watch the lights while you are cranking the engine because the ECU doesn't store codes in a memory, it shows the codes as the error occurs. Maybe this will lead to something. Its a primative ECU so dont' expect much.
