I don't know about you guys, but I'll get APEX'i. With N/A 1~2hp for extra $100 is well worth it. and that's to the wheels. Imagine how much you spend on p-port for about 70-80 hp gain...... hp/$ wise....APEX'i is a lot cheaper. Maybe RX-7 owners forgot, but any hp increase is very very precious to N/A becuase there is limit to how much air 1.3 could suck in.
Also get better engine oil and that'll get you extra ~1hp to the wheel.
power comes at a premium for N/As. don't go cheap. get the best.

Spending over $100 for a negligible gain in power is ludicrous.

Ha, what about the "filter adds moie hp and your mods grow" theory. Does this 1-2hp multiply over time once you've gotten mods
And w/ pport comes ned intake manifold, probably a new exhaust, new fuel, new EFI setup or carb setup. PPort is more than port and go. Its like a transformation. Well most of the times.

Bah, probably for the best anyway. Somewhere out there is an AE with your name on it...

Well actually if the filters improve the air flow by percentage of flow increase, then the "more Hp as more mods" will hold true. Don't try to say that you get the same hp gain no matter what kind of ports and engine you have becuase that's bull and you know it. This is all said given that the filter hasn't reached its max flow capacity which I'm pretty damn sure anything a normal or a street ported N/A can't produce. I don't know about you guys but those 1~2hp extra helps every bit when you try to beat a built honda engine dropped in a civic hatchback.

But they also just sell the APEX'i filter for $65. They had a test on here somewhere that was done by some magazine or something and they found that APEX'i was the best for performance and for filtering so I do think its worth it. HKS was the shittiest all around I think and let alot of **** in there. You should be able to use the adaptor they sell for like $25 as well so then you got it all for $90 which saves you $55.

Heres the intake comparison:

Pretty interesting for all those with the HKS I think.
