Decell tinny rattly spitty vibrating pain in the ***!

Car specs-
'89 GTU
Apex cold air
RB headers
no cat, sometimes straight pipes, sometimes flowmaster, always hidden (stock mufflers still hanging)

I'm getting an annoying rattle when decell or just push the clutch in while moving and in gear. This happens at low speeds (ex. neighbor hood speeds). It is happening 99.9% of the time now except when the engine is cold. It rarely happens when stoped and not in gear. Anyone have any ideas?

Dude, under the car, left/right side, in the shifter, in the steering wheel, in the engine bay, what???

Duuurrp! my bad Wayne. It sounds to be coming from under the car, left side, and I'd say in front of my feet. It's hard to be precise since it only does it while the car is moving.

I know its not the brakes. Ive been thinking its some sort of heat shield vibrating at the specific rpms but there isn't much shielding that hasnt either been removed or replaced so I've been stumped on this for a while now

if its only then the clutch is in, I give odds (damn good odds) to the pilot bearing.

If its on decel and no clutch... well ****.
