dead clutch?

I decided to change my oil today and after i finished i found my clutch was dead. I was fiddling around with the oil filter for quite awhile, could i have busted something loose? What i noticed, after i had finished, was that i had very little tension in the clutch. I drove for awhile, and when i stopped i kept messing with the clutch. Eventually I couldnt put it into gear at all and had to rev match to get it back home. Any insight, thanks a lot guys.

It is possible that you might have loosened the release valve for the clutch cylinder. I know during an oil change that there is spilled oil sometimes, but did you notice any more than there should have been? Just a thought.

examine the clutch slave and the hose that leads to it. it is bolted to the tranny just below/behind the oil filter. check for leaks. have somebody press the in the clutch while you look at it to observe it's operation.
