You can read the secondaries out at the ECU while driving just as easily as you can the primaries. Just backprobe the correct pin with a piece of wire that will stay put (paper clip may work for you, .041 safety wire works for me), set the meter on the seat next to you, run your little alligator clip jumpers (I KNOW you have those by now, right?) to the ecu wire and to ground, hook everything up to the meter, and take her for a spin...

It's actually a little more exciting watching the secondaries, because when they kick in, it's a no-brainer on the meter (BTW, analog meters work better than digitals for this kind of work, IMO). And, you're trying to haul *** and watch a meter in the seat at the same time- now that's exciting, lol

The best part about all this ECU stuff is nothing has to be torn apart to troubleshoot

yeah your right. Like I said I'm going to put the secondary 890's in the primary out of the engine but secure with a tie strap and then unplug the coils and turn the engine to see if the 890cc injectors fire. If they do fire then we will know it is something up with the secondary wiring. I'll put everything back together and then run the car with the multimeter on the secondaries. Now I can only do this one injector at a time right? so this way if one comes on and the other one doesn't I'll know whats up. Thanks again man.

Yeah, unless you have two meters, you can only do one at a time at the ECU...

I thought all this time you were having problems with the primaries? Guess I should have reread the whole thread, lol...

I thought you had something confused I was just going to keep dropping hints until you got it, lol. Anyways I may have some time to do this before I get married. I've got 15 computers here that need to get out by the time I leave plus a couple service calls so I'm swamped with crap to do. Maybe tonight I can try this stuff out.
