Me and SonicRat are thinking about taking bets on when you get the motor started...Any takers?
BY hell how much is the pot up to, cause Ill take you up on that.

Its a pretty basic principle of internal combustion engines that they dont work without compression, and a decent amount of it, much less none of it

Instead of ATF try Wynns or STP oil treatment in the combustion area. That stuff is so thick it will give you compression. B4 I did this, I would do the above mentioned of pulling the fuse and cranking to help clear out the motor. Make sure you've got good spark and put a new set of plugs in too. If it fires you'll see so much blue smoke, you'll think two chainsaws are having sex.

I talked to a man once who said he used brake fluid in a motor once. But I think the best is the dishwashing liquid..that's the king.

Someone either in this thread, or another one, suggested using dish soap in place of ATF.

Forget that...

I didnt know you were gonna say that, but all you notherners can have all that nasy-foul weather. I will continue to live in a city that has more sunny days per capita then all other cities in the US.

Ok... you mentioned replacing the CAS. Have you CHECKED the timing since? I suspect you have the CAS retarded by 1 or more teeth. That, in addition to flooding, and you will NEVER get it to start. Check it and try again. It's a real bear to get the CAS right if you have never done it before.

There is another post in this section that details the little tiff between the seller and buyer concerning this motor. And yet another where we tried to help RX7BEAR to get the motor running.

What me and Hypnytz both agree on, is that unless a third party goes to verify the install and all that stuff, there is NO telling if its the motor or the install.

Yes guys it is installed correctly. Im almost 99% sure I set the timing to the yellow mark before I pulled the one out very slowly and checked the mark on it. then took the one from mymotor which i know worked set it the exact way and dropped it in very slowly.
Th ecar still did the same little bumps of sound coming out and the usual smoking slightly. But no start. We even put in a little bit more ATF to try to get some comp back and pulled it again . Al it did was smoke very badly at first then no smoke at all. Also the temp gauge was moving up so I could tell it was firing in there just wont start. Everything on this cars engine area is exactly the same as it was when I took out my running 1/2 dead engine out just with a different block now that wont start.
Not to much more I can do to this thing other then pull the motor out that I got form Tom and rip his and mine apart and make a good one of the 2. And sell the rest of the parts on Ebay.
Hopefully mine will be in better shape then his at least it will start. And I can take it to a friend I have at mazda here and get a work order on it to see if it was bad from the get go . They can take it all apart for me and check it all. At least it will be documented .

Are you bullshitting me? So now youre going to pour MORE money into this non running motor? WTF??

And this after the fact that I know myself and several others have offered to help you out with your situation, since we feel bad for you...

Man, not to say its right or anything that you got screwed, but ****, some people just dont listen...

At least it will be documented .
And, this will do you, what amount of good?

Oh, you probably have plans to call the FBI and CIA and file an internet fraud complaint, right? Well, as much as that gets thrown around from buyers and sellers, I bet they could give a rat's *** about your low dollar (sub $10grand) transaction. They have bigger fish to fry, and if you think about it, they can barely keep up with the big dollar guys. How much do you think theyd accomplish if they investigated and prosecuted every little kiddie on the net who gets PO'd about a bad internet transaction? The probably see the word "internet" on the complaint and immediately file it away somewhere.

Now, so this doesnt get twisted, IM not saying this as a defense of what was said or done, or whatever. Do what you like. I just prefer to stand back and look at the big picture, and be the realist...

no I have a friend there that said he might be able to have their head tech look at it . That way if he can I will have it documented of what is wrong with it .Im going to try to get it to run one more time as soon as the weather breaks . Pull the intake off and header shoot some B12 Chemtool on the apex seals then put some mmo in it let it sit and see it they will loosen up and give me some kinda compression. If I get none still then it wil get yanked out and I will rebuild mine the one that came out it ran but the rear rotor had almost no comp.
Im thinking of getting the video from atkins on how to rebuild I like to see exactly how its done.
These motors look very easy to rebuild just alot of parts as in seals.

well, if it makes you feel any better, the only that works on my car is the compression and the transmission, maybe the tires too. everything that has electricity running through it sucks... and to add, this bitch is running richer than bill gates, causing my trailing spark plugs to go bad every week.

If possible Id like a modderator or the people that read these to pull both posts off here. enough is enough. Once the weather breaks here I will try on that motor again then I will post what I find out. Christmas is too close now so I need a break from it all.
I will let you all know what I find out about it and again thank you all for all the info and help . It was greatly appreciated. Too bad it didnt work.
