damn hesitation....
ok ive searched for this problem but i cant really figure it out from the hundreds of other threads....
i replaced the TPS but it made no difference. well i still had a idle problem till i adjusted the throttle cable because it was super loose. now i get shitty gas milage and a hesitation starting at 2k. if i do a rev when im sitting still in neutral it will go past 2k all the way to redline....its an s4 and the BAC valve is unhooked because the wires are broken and falling apart.... could the ACV have anything to do with it.
anyone have any ideas on which grounds could cause this...im gona check the ECU injector ground tomorrow as well as use the carb cleaner to look for vac leaks.. any other ideas of what too look for??

Clip an Ohmmeter in the AFM signal pins & see it there are any bad spots as you work the flap.
If there are any drop-outs in the sweep, you can open the cover & spray the contacts with CRC 2-26 contact cleaner & lube. (Not WD-40)

I gotta check my AFM as well, thanks for that info.
But yeah according to my reading - "a defective secondary air injection system air control valve (ACV) or a bad water thermo sensor" could be the culprit if your engine "lacks power, accelerates poorly or hesitates". That's what my Haynes manual says.
same for vac or intake leaks, bad timing, stuck double throttle, and a bunch of other stuff.
good luck and keep us posted.

wow the ACV would make sense, i dont think my thermo sensor is bad but ill check that anyway, and how can i check the secondary air injection system, because it does lack power and defintetly has poor acceleration....im gona be making a full rundown of all these things as soon as i get home from school tomorrow so ill keep you guys informed

well so far i have no new news to report besides the fact that i think im about to burn the damn car to the ground!!! this is getting really annoying.... anyone have any ideas....also how do you check the AFM??

well ive done some thinking about this and could the hesitation be caused by a clogged exhaust?? and i was looking at my fuses and the egi inj fuse looks like it could be blown...also my dad was telling me something about how the egr solenoid could be malfunctioning causing it to hesitate....is this any where near what could be wrong??...
the hesitation comes around the same time that the secondaries would come on.....1800 to 2K..... what would cause the secondaries not to switch on?

Sorry, I have no helpful suggestions. But this is the reason Im ready for my new engine. When I get the engine out, every sensor will be replaced, and some done away with. Im gonna simplify as much as I can get away with, without killing drivability. Mine has tons of small problems that are hard to pinpoint or fix... so Ill replace all of it
