cxoolng problems
Ok, I have done the search and cant find my problem. So I am going to ask for your help.
Ok, coolant light came on the other while going to work, checked the rad little to no water in it, could not see a visable leak anywhere. I added water back to it drove around and it came back on again this time it started to over heat. Got home checked it again, this time there the water was going into the over flow tank. Now I just replaces the thermo and caps about 3 mo ago. Now this morning I started the car let it warm up with out the main cap on to see if I might have a blown seal, it operated normal.
I am at a loss at what to do next any help would be greatful.
Thanks

Ya cooling problems suck. I bought my TII with the idea that I had bad coolant seals and needed a rebuild. I was losing coolant quite quickly somewhere and thought it was being burnt up. I couldn't find any leaks myself. Took it to the local rotary guy and he pressure tested it and found the water pump to be bad and the radiator. Got new ones of both and all has been well for months. Sooo...moral of the story is to go have the system pressure tested.

Pressure testing the way to go. There is probably a very small leak in the system somewhere, and it will be very annoying to find by hand.
Also, just for good measure, replace the rad cap.
