custom sub boxes on ebay?

Every once in a while I see this on ebay. It replaces the cubby's with a unit that holds two 10" subs. Made out of MDF or something. Does anyone know how where to get these? I haven't seen them on ebay lately. Anyone have this and have reviews? I'm looking for stealth over absolute sound quality, but I'd like it to be at least decent. At the same time, anyone have recomendations for mounting amps? There was a suggestion I read where a guy mounted them in the back right behind the taillights, but there's definately no room for that. Again, I'm looking for stealth mostly.

Thanks a lot

You can install the amps in a cubby hole or behind a seat. My amp is installed behind the passenger seat. If you put the subs in teh cubby holes, I GUARANTEE it will sound like ***. The best location for a sub is at the very rear facing forward. Unfortunately, if you decide to keep the spare tire you won't have many options for a stealth setup. If you remove the spare, however, there is tons of room for a stealth install. I kept my spare and am running only an 8" for now.

It is pretty rare to find a hatch cover on sale and usually they go pretty high in good condition, but that would be an ideal solution to hiding your subs from view.

those hatch covers are to much money for what they are. Maybe I'll fabricate my own or something. I've wanted one, just not $150 for one. I'll probably look a little more into that. I don't like the amps behind the seats. They don't flush mount against the cubbys and they keep the seat from going all the way back when on the floor. I've been driving like that way to long and it looks cheasy as well. Thanks for the replies. I'm still really interested on any information on the ebay ones for the cubbies though.

I'm definately keeping the spare. This is a daily driver so that matters greatly.

ask nillahacz for some pics of his set up. he has a eclips 12 with there 1100wat amp right behind the seats. its pretty sweet. he hit 130dp too. so sq isnt all that bad you just have to build it right.

2 12s and 1100 watts and only 130 db? That's less than I can get with a single 10" and 400 watts.
