The tube you are referring to is NOT what you want. Title "NEW 2.25" SILICONE TURBO INTERCOOLER HOSE 2' TUBE"

Notice it says 2.25", thats the ID size of the tubing, you want 3" with the prelude kit.

I would make a writeup, but all I did was follow the one from nopistons, so every time I am asked how I did it I just refer people to that one and explain any discrepencies.

^ ooh close call for me. thanks, i'd be kicking myself after i would have bid on that. going to check out the hardware store first, even though i prefer the blue tubing better, its much thinner and just looks nicer.

Hey dDub, what filter is that (obviously K&N but what part number), do you have any better pictures of the filter itself? How does it fit down there, snug or plenty of room? How much did that filter cost you?

Dub, your piping seems so much straighter than trainwrecks, who also used the prelude piping from ebay...

Its the K&N FIPK filter made for our cars to mate up with the AFM that I just customized to work on regular piping. It is very snug, no part number it was on my car when I bought it before I did the CAI.

Yes like I said I screwed up in the middle of making mine. Stupidly I cut the hole before I knew where the piping was going to end up, so I had to make it work. Thus the piping ended up straight after I had to cut a bunch off.

So I'm looking at prelude kits on ebay and I see them for the low price of $23.95, but when I look closer, I see that shipping is $19.95. Did you pay that much?

isn't the piping that comes form the TB bigger than 3"? my ebay piping is 3", and it's too small to go in there.

Yes it is, but I swear on my life that the rubber couplers are larger than they say because the 3" one is huge. It takes a big to get it onto the tb elbow, but it fits snug. Only problem is you have to tighten the crap out of it to make it tight against the ebay piping.

But the second ebay link he posted was a two pipe setup! I guess that must still be doable.

It's the exact same thing people, just one is in sections... The 2nd one is what yours WILL look like after you cut your 1 piece pipe like in the first link, which you have to do anyways to put in the AFM.
