custom exaust

ok as the title reads, custom exaust. i have an 87 n/a and i was wanting to get good sound and performance out of my exaust without going broke. so i was out a few days ago and a performance exaust place caught my eye that i have never seen before, so i stopped. i have two apexi n1 mufflers being shipped as we speak and i told the guy that i wanted a totally custom 2 1/2" exaust from the manifold back. he said, do you want to keep the cat, and i said no. so the final price was 125 bucks down for the high flow cat, and 125 bucks when the cat gets there and he would have it done in 30min with my n1 mufflers installed on the new exaust. the total 256 bucks. for a new 2.5" downpipe and Y pipe. i thought it was extremly cheap and one hell of a deal. what do you guys think?

Will the pipes be mandrel bent, or just crush bent? Big difference in these two options. You want the mandrel bending for the best flow.
