Current pics of my car
Progress on my car has been slow since my first pics about this time last year. I figure I'd throw these up from SS7 and see if anyone has any more. My camera broke so I have to rely on other people that have pics from SS.
The wheels were borrowed as my Work SP1's didn't arrive from Japan in time. All work was done my myself with the help of friends in my garage. The final coat of paint was layed by a buddy that had access to a booth. It will likely be resprayed since we were entirely happy with the way the pearl layed... but it was painted two days before, so we were a little pressed for time
For those who aren't familiar, this car made 422 RWHP at 1bar on 91 octane and 467RWHP@1.3bar on ~96 octane last year. I have since upgraded ignition and fuel and still need to turn the water injection on. I currently drive the car on teh street at 1.2bar with no problems.
Anybody else have any more pics for me?
-Chris

Your car is the **** man. It was great seeing it in person. You have totally busted your *** on that car. The choice in the kit and wheels is awesome. Keep us posted with all the updates.

I can certainly say the same about your car Seth Maybe next year we'll have have to try to park near eachother.
The car has not been to any shows, mostly b/c I haven't really finished it. I did most of the mechanical work last year. We stopped tunning on the dyno when I ran out of fuel and had some small ignition hichups. I drove the car for a while and when questioned about selling my manifold I did, and then set out to design another one. About the same time I began trying to decide what to do with the body and I landed on the above combination.
Mods:
Engine is a large street port with 3mm apex seals. FD rotors and seals , oil mods, 3 window bearings, competition stationary gears. I run my own CAD designed manifold (equal length, madrel bent tubes) with dual Tial 38mm W/G's. The turbo was built with custom selected GT series wheels, but turned about to be essentially a PT67 with a GTQ turbine wheels. The turbin housing is a .84 divided with a 4" DP feeding the back half of an RE Amemiya dual 80mm exhaust.
GReddy IC (although I am working on my own design) and the aquamist 2d water injection setup. Haltech e6k, 720 primaries wiht 1600 secondaries, full braided stainless line. I dynoed with a single supra pump and and currently adding an additional pump to handle fuel needs.
The ignition is the AEM C2DI, bypassed the stock ignitors and using stock coils.
Suspension is Zeal Function V6 coiloever with the 8k, 6k spring rates. Full poly bushings, sustech swaybars, solid end links, competition, motor, tranny and diff mount. Any week now I should ahve a set of 18x10.5 and 18x9 3 piece Work SP1's.
The body is a GP kit with Msports wide fenders. Parts are molded in and together, but it can still come off the car. The rear spoiler is RE Amemiya and a big debate as to who likes it and who doesn't. The headlights, which were also borrowed from Reese Leblanc for SS are East Bear. I intend to get a set for myself, just didn't happen in time.
I think that's about it. I have attached a few pics from a post last year, that show the car then.

The engine bay:
you can see the accumulators for the aquamist mounted on the IC piping on the drivers side (cylinders before and after strut bar)
Different view so you can see turbo, and 4" exhaust.
*Note: This has changed somewhat from last year. It's MUCH cleaner now with wiring etc... I need to get a good pic of it now.
A shot of my fan and shroud before the bay was complete.
And another shot while we were fixing a problem on the way back from SS6. You can see the mirror shine on the shroud, and this gives you a good view of the Innocent Blue Mica color used for accent:

So the car at SS was not running (didn't have a down pipe) and needed the last things (like connecting the IC pipes among other things)

Chris, It's nice to know another fellow East Bear owner...did you upgrade the lightbulbs? I did so with PIAA X-treme Whites. I wasn't to keen on the ones provided. Anyway, as always, It's a pleasure to see up todate pics.
*edit*
I just acknowledged that the Headlights were borrowed.

I have no idea. Surely more than if I had paid someone to do the work since everything was a learning curve... polishing parts, replating all the nuts and bolts, body work, rewiring the entire car etc. Needless to say I'll never get my money back out of it
dang I love those seats!can you tell me what brackets did you use?
