Current market value of RX-7 10th Anniversary Edition
I have been thinking of selling my 88 RX-7 10th Anniversary Edition. It is in excellent shape in both exterior and interior. It has been always garaged since the day one. All stock with no modification. It has 120,000 miles and well maintence by professionals. I just want to know how much it is worth these days. I get an offer $3,800. It seems low. Any comments? Thanks.

offer sounds about right but it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. the offer sounds ballpark though but some may pay more since good condition AEs aren't exactly a commodity anymore though with that amount of miles things will be breaking soon so the value will begin to go downhill from here regardless of how well you maintained it.

Thanks. I've just done the routine service maintence two weeks ago. Everything is in very good shape. I have been thinking about upgrading to JDM engine and exhaust as soon as the engine fails. It still runs very good to me. However, my plan is changed. I migth just keep it as it is. Thanks.

you mean a Jspec engine, the Jspecs are less than reliable in most cases since they are used engines that have been shelved for over a decade in a wherehouse, i know i wouldn't like to have been abused for several years and then put on a shelf for over 10 years... just some food for thought.

I bought my tenth AE for $5k. It's in amazing condition, though. Only thing that's wrong with it is the passenger side seat is just... old. Brand new drivers one, though. I think depending on the condition of it, $3,800 is kind of low.. I'd have paid $6k for mine.

you are one of the few, most people don't see the extra few options worth several thousand dollars over a regular T2 model.
it may be worth trying to see if anyone out there is interested but really i wouldn't be disappointed if it doesn't sell for $5k+

I used to think that 10ths were the pinnacle of the FCs, but what I had to realize is, they are just badged TIIs with paint, a fancy seat, and a fancy steering wheel. While I like owning my 10th, its not worth three times what a normal TII is worth, in my honest opinion..
Oh, btw.. Whats a 400 hp 10th worth?
