Cruise control fuse keeps blowing

Ok I found out a fuse is being blown. The cruise control work for like 3 seconds then blows the fuse. Any Ideas why it's being blown? Should I just rerun the wire? I was thinking that'd work but I was wondering if anyone knew where the wire goes from the fuse box to so that I don't have to trace the wire all up in the dash and everything. I'd greatly appeciate it.

Try disconnecting the cruise control computer, and reinserting a good fuse...If it still blows, you know it's in the wiring, supporting subsystems, or the actuator...

Scratch that...Just read the "3 second thing"...Disconnect the actuator first, then do above...

The meter 10A and the stop 20A fuses no longer blow now. Yet, it still doesn't work. I can get the main light on, but no dice as far as being able to set the cruise speed.
