Question cruise control

noone seems to know,i have an 86/na rx7. could someone tel me the diference between an rx7 with cruise control and one without.under the dash the harness for cruise control is there,will it work if i pick up the switch?

I think I sold a guy my CC stuff a long time ago and it worked. Just make sure you get the S4 equipment and not the S5 stuff because the S4 was vacuum assist and the S5 with electronic.

Switch for the dash, control box for the harness near your left foot, actuator for the engine bay, right side near the wiper motor. Plug and play. Same series, please.

how good is the TII cruise...???

i heard it kinda jerky....im sure its not perfect since its an 88, but im trying to deciede if its worth buying another unit and installing it...
my cars equiiped for it, but someone removed it apparently....

I find the turboii cruise smooth. I find the cruise in my n/t car jerky....but only because the actuator is not secured and the cable has SLACK in it. Tooooo much slack. When the slack is not there and the actuator is secured..its smooth.

It's not the series that matters, it's the engine. NA's are vacuum operated, turbos are electronic. S5's did have a completely different control module though, with on-board diagnostics.
