Cracked Center Iron
Hey guys, ive been goin through an engine tear down and cleaning for the winter to rebuild my 88 T2.
while i was cleanin i found on my center iron a crack on one of the lower legs leading into the outer coolant seal grove. i took a few pictures that show the extent of the crack. it seems to only be on the surface and u can see it doesnt go through in one of the photos.

question, does this seem reusable? or should i look for a new iron? thanks in advance for all the help.

S4 NA center side housing has EGR ports in the primary runner so stay away from that one. Otherwise the other irons '86-91 irons can all be ported to be identical.
S5 has a later opening smaller primary port unported though, but who would rebuild a rotary without porting it :P
