Couple of Questions

What would you guys recommend for gas (unleaded, plus, super) for the RX-7. So far I have been putting in Super, but I have heard mixed things. As for oil I have been using Royal Purple. My friend recommends Castrol Syntec. From what I have read so far that sucks ***. I have heard that it builds up ash when it burns. Is he full of it or did I miss something? Thanks (P.S. I don't normally listen to this kid cause he said the rotary is a bad engine so yeah)

NA=Lowest octane that prevents knocking. 87/89 should be fine.

Rotary engines like slower burning gas. As for oil, search. There is always a debate about dino vs. synthetic, RP vs Other et cetera. Castrol Syntec should be fine. There are many members who run it in their engines with no issues.

That's pretty much bang on. My rule of thumb for oil:

If going synthetic, don't cheap out (get Royal Purple/Motul), but besides that I usually run dino.
