I had a stock 88 mustang LX 5.0 Fastest car ive ever owned. I still say you shouldnt plan on beating it. Unless the kid cant drive, or only has one leg.

Stock 5.0s arent that fast. Plus a lot are in poor mechanical condition. However, I still say this mustang will pwn you. Post up the results dude. Who cares if you lose, its just a for fun race.

OMG, I just found it, a sereis 4 TII, with a turbo upgrade? That's it? LOL, keep dreaming, my TII could toast you, not even worth my Mustang's time!
Um i just found some new information about the guys mustang. He raced a stock third gen and won by about 3-4 car lengths. He also has really bad traction problems.

My Turbo II? Its stock, CF DF clutch, lightwheels and its stripped down to bare essentials, no power anything, no carpets, so on and so forth...

Your halfshafts neck doen at a point and break under drag launches, and your front end is too heavy to utilize an IRS in cornering, not to mention it's ****-poor geometry.
You have the worst of both worlds, can't corner, can't launch.
