Corksport Power Series Race Pipe

So has anyone used the CS race pipe. I wanted to get a review on them. How does it muffler noise in comparison to say a RB pre-silencer. From the looks of the outside it looks very much like a resonator. But it would be very useless if it was straight through.

and with it has anyone used the Entire Powerseries cat back with the DP. How loud does it get. Im debating between getting that or just having a muffler shop make a test pipe using a resonator or a Borla Xr1 muffler.

Friend just bought the whole exhaust setup from them for his TII. Seems like it shouldn't be to loud.

Well it's a LOT smaller than an RB pre-silencer. The CS one bolts into the same space as the stock main cat and has some stubs on either end, the RB one has flanges several inches further apart which are integrated into the body, making it as long as physically possible in that space. I'd guess that it's about twice as big as the CS one.

The CS catback is notoriously loud, so given that about their mufflers and the much smaller pre-silencer, the RB setup should be quite a bit quieter.

We measured it as 4db dampening from 10 feet behind the car when using the racepipe versus just a straight piece of pipe. Yes, it is essentially just a resonator, it's not really meant for a street car.

If you're looking for street stuff, I do recommend the Borla XR-1 with our catback. Installed those on many customer cars, sounds fantastic
