Hey, I'm 1987rx7guy and all this talk about the corksport exhaust makes my dick soft.

 

 

Man, you guys bitching about the CS being loud... I have the CS exhaust on right now... but thanks to a little mishap, it's pretty much open at the DP...

but to me.. the CS sounds AWSOME..
mean, growly, scares the **** outta most ricers..

its a very intimidating sound...

 

Yeah actually when I got it I kept thinking "damn this sounds like a ricer exhaust" but then I took it up for some touge... my friend waiting at the top said he could hear me from miles away and that it sounded unbelievable... because I running, I was revving all the way through the RPM ranges, rev matching, etc... coming up the mountain he said it was awesome sounding. And I have to agree... daily driving it's a little annoying... yeah people look.. but whatever.

So if it's not ruined I'll keep it.

At least I rarely have a problem with someone not seeing me... like three times just this week some bitch is about to pull out in front of me because they don't see me, but they hear me and stop... hah. How do you miss a black RX-7 with the headlights always up? (One of the motors broke... took it out and ziptied the headlight up... bleh...)

I beleive that if you search Corksport exhaust, you can find a huge long thread about the pros and cons of this exhaust. Just food for thought.

 

Man talk about ******* LUCK.

Tonight on my way home from work I'm cruising along... I don't drive fast because I cannot afford to get pulled over... (haven't smogged yet...) and suddenly some car comes FLYING up on my ***, moves over and passes me on the right before I have a chance to move over to let them by (I am alert too, he must have been going about 100 and I was going about 70 so I barely had a chance to see that he was coming up on me) so he passes me and... it's a cop! With his lights on! Flys past me, gets back into my lane... turns off the lights and just keeps going! WHEWW!! Glad I don't drive like an idiot trying to race people passing me on the right or anything.

So I continue home... like right before the exit to my town, I see FIVE cop cars with lights on all pulled over at this one car!! I was like DAAMN! They must have found tons of drugs or something. So I get off the freeway, I'm sitting at the freeway exit waiting for the light to turn green...

Turns green, my loud *** car starts off in first gear... I try to drive it very conservatively keeping it below 4k so it doesn't get too loud... but that also makes me go kinda slow, so this car behind me as I turn I realize... COP CAR. =O Yikes.

I thought FOR SURE they heard me go by on the freeway and were gonna pull me over... he turns on his lights... and PASSES ME and then gets on the freeway in the OTHER direction entrance! !!!! I was sooo shocked. TWICE in one night. Knock on ****** wood.
