That raised leading edge is really popular in the JGTC.
Seriously people shouldnt knock on these style of wings. Everyone in real racing uses them.
F1 the pinacle of race cars. Use........ guess what..... tripple deck spoiler on the back. They go fast but there is faster. THere are even faster cars on the street. Well flat out speed. Of course the F1s are regulated, but they choose tripples.

exactly REAL racing... these wings are functional and would be a good use with a rear diffuser but we have seen then on one to many civics and tend to think its rice now a days.

actually that is the only one i like too. it is a far better design. i wished i had my digcam w/ me this morning as the dew collected nicely on my freshly rainxed glass. stuff like this can show you a lot about your cars aerodynamics. the center of the rear glass still had dew on it upon getting to work. just goes to show why the center section has a different attack angle. however, its still overkill on a street car.

This topic alone made me register

You know, I realised how witty this became and reading the above posts made me register. I love sattire. BTW that corkscrew looks a little... *couch* cheap *cough* to be on a nice rex. Then again... so does the dent in my driverside fender Just the fender is alot harder to notice being dented when passing someone at >100. I feel at speeds ~100, that spoiler would cause more drag than downpressure. On the other hand, my car doesn't have to many traction issues at 100... im not taking corner's like an idiot to require such. Though in reality, my car is so low that taking corners like an idiot that fast would probably make me the fastest idiot to make it through the corner. Stock spoiler works just fine for me! There is a reason they make nice looking spoilers. There is a reason they cost more too, not only do they look nice, they work!
