I have a question, since we're on the subject of brakes. Since my car isn't mildly modified, I'm looking to replace the brake pads. What would be a good brand to get, or should I just go with cheap pads?

Is there anyway that you could show some of the testing....

I just don't believe or see how this is going to decrease stoping distances.

Generic parts store pads are just fine for every day driving.

More braking surface == more stopping power

more stopping power == less stopping distance

Lets not get into things like tire wear, weather conditions, etc. Because those are the same things that effect any brake setup.

But again, I'm not suggesting that everyone rush out and buy these things. Have a big brake kit for your front? Get em. Want more grip for your ebrake? Get em. Want a bigger rotor to fill up your JDM tyte wheels? Get em. Want more stopping power for your rear brakes? Get em.

These aren't for everyone. Heck, a lot of you might wanna wait on them until we get the front kit done so you can do all 4 wheels at once.

Good points

Good job on making a kit though! Nice to see new stuff for the FC!

What are the specs on the RZ brakes? (Size of the fronts since we already know the rear, stopping distance with or without ABS on the FD, etc)

Bumping up to see if anything ever got built for the front brake upgrade. Rears are available here:

http://corksport.com/store/category/...rx-Brakes.html

For anyone wanting to know the importance of addressing brakes wholistically I suggest you read the following. The fronts DO NOT do all the work.

Holy two year bump batman!

I forgot I even made this thread.

No, nothing ever really got built for the fronts. We couldn't find a cost effective way, but rest assured, we're still working on it.

Did you guys ever source cheaper better quality rotors for the kit? If so why didn't the price on the kit drop? I'm interested, please let me know.
