Corksport 30mm fenders tire/rim options?

Anyone running the corksport 30mm front fenders with a 17x9 and a large tire? I can't find any info on what tire and rim combo now fits without a coil over. I would like to run a 17x9 F +25 with a 245/40/17 or 255/40/17.

Thumbs up

17x9 +25 will probably hit the stock front suspension. I have 17x8 +25 on a 225 series tire up front and it's flush with the fenders, and I have maybe a quarter of an inch worth of space between the suspension and tire. If you're getting our 30mm overfenders then you can move out that extra inch.

If you wanna go that big up front you're probably looking at something closer to like.... 17x9 +10 or so. If my math is correct then a 255 series tire on a 17x9 +10 (about) wheel will be flush with the fenders.

(Also: Sorry I never got back to your emails, been having email issues )

I wouldn't go lower than +20 up front.
In fact, I would try and shoot for a +15 up front with a 9" wide.
These fit under the 30mm overfenders no problem.

cool that takes care of the front. We got a 295/30/18 at the shop and compared it last night to a 275-40-17 and the 295 was considerably wider.

Corksport did you guys ever get any better shots of the bolt on fender flare for the FC rear yet?

I don't think a 295 wide tire is even recommended to fit on a 9.0" wide rim.
I think minimum is 9.5" if not 10.0" or wider...

yeah I do need some pics of that corksport, panspeed fender flare for the rear and I will get the larger tire for the back. Like I said before the 275 is a ok sized tire but 300's will get me the traction I need.

Does anyone know of a generic bolt on fender flare? I like the race look anyway.

Like these for a 240sx. I have a feeling these will fit. I wish someone had a good pic of the panspeed ones on a FC.

Yah, according to tire rack the range is 10-11" wheel for 295 tires with a suggestion of 10.5".

A 255 tire has a range of 8.5-10" with a suggestion of 9".

That's about as good as I can do for the rears. I know someone on the forum here has them moulded into the car, I've seen the pix of it... These are ours, the Panspeeds look pretty much the same.

Also, the price on the front 30mm fenders went down to $329 from $375

On a 9" wide wheel about as wide as you can go is a 255. I have 255/45/17s on my 17x9s and I couldn't go any bigger. It's actually a little bit more than flush.

yeah i want to go 9/255 for the front and 10/285 up for the rear. I might just buy a set of the fender flares for the 240sx and bolt those on the back. the corksport rears don't seem to add a whole lot of clearance and will need to be bondoed in and that sucks.

We usually just rivet them on. They have holes on them for mounting.
