Coolant temp sender location

Hey fellas, I picked up a Faze coolant temp. gauge today and when it came time for me to find a place for the probe/sender, I couldn't find where to put it. I first thought about the coolant level sender location, but when I tried, the probe was too small and the other fittings it came with were too large. Now I'm thinking the location of the coolant temp. sender, but I don't know where it is. I looked in the FSM and it only showed the coolant level sender, too, so please don't bombard me with "look at the FSM."

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Look under your oil filter there should be a little plug to the left of that that is your coolant temp sender.

Thats your oil temp sensor.

Your coolant temp sensor is on the back side of the water pump near the thermostat. It is a green connector. Your harness may be covering it up making it difficult to spot.

Theres a coolant sensor where he mentioned as well. Not sure if its a temp sensor but theres defintly some kind of coolant sensor there. directly to the left of the oil press sensor that your talking about. I believe the thread for that is M10x1. Your aftermarket coolant temp sensor should be a 1/8" NPT. Youll need a sunpro metric adapter set. Itll have both of the the sensor adapters needed to mount your 1/8"NPT sensor in either of the above locations.

There's also a little adapter they make for adding an NPT sized coolant temp sender port to the radiator hose on E-bay that might work.
