coolant problem

car leaks coolant while sitting. took the upper intake manifold off and there is coolant sitting in between the block and lower intake manifold. does any one have a coolant hose diagram for a s4 t2? all emissions are blocked off.

Did you remove the BAC valve? If so, did you seal and plug the coolant nipple coming out the block? I had this same problem; took me forever to realize I didn't close it off properly.

Hmmm, I wouldn't know then. My problem was that I eliminated everything but did not block off that nipple properly. Is there any steam or anything coming from the engine bay or whatnot? Are the hoses from the waterpump ok? I've heard they tend to crack and leak from time to time.

There is a hose that is supposed to run from the TB to the rear iron on the TII engine. If that hose is missing or broken that will cause your problem.
