![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I am having a bit of a problem with a car i have just bought, It is a 1990 T2 that has been stood for over a year, basicly when i got it the water pump had seized and the guy had turned it over distroying the Water pump bearings.
The guy says he had not ran it with no water in but i have just changed the pump and i can't blead the system, There seems to be Air being pushed in to the coolant, also there is more presure than should be ie. it is blowing water past the rad cap into the header tank.
I am fearing the worst (water seals) but is there any other things it could possably be? for example if there was a water leak on the pump or a dodgy pump would that do it?
Is there any sure fire ways of 100% making sure it is the Water seals before i pull the Engine?
Thanks
Chris
