Coolant pressure problem?
This spring I installed a new Fluidyne radiator, and all new coolant hoses including the heater core-- pretty much every line that carries coolant is new. Also changed the thermostat and the upper cap, all except the radiator & cap were factory Mazda parts.
The car has not been run for a few weeks as I redid the brakes, and after running it Thursday night, I found quite a sizeable puddle of coolant. It looks like it's coming from the lower rad hose which is clamped with the factory clamp for now--I'll replace it today with a screw type clamp.
Anyway, I squeezed the hose by hand (no, car not running!) and it seemed quite pressurized, and that's probably why I'm leaking now. Did not have the problem all summer.
Possibly something is plugged somewhere? Any thoughts appreciated!

The lower rad hose is on the suction side and should have a spring or some sort of solid liner in it to keep it from collapsing when the water pump draws a vacuum on it. It should readily collapse in your hand if you're squeezing it.
Try starting the thing and looking around for a leak. It'll be most easily seen when the system is pressurized.
