Coolant Loss and White Smoke?

Ok interesting little problem I have... I think it might be a coolant seal, but I could be wrong...

I've had to fill the coolant at least once a month. AT least once a month my coolant buzzer goes off and I gotta put about a 1/5 or a 1/4 of coolant into the radiator. Also when I redline the car, it puts out a lot of white smoke, or if i take it to say 6k and the tranny slows it down (by not taking it out of gear) it pumps a shitload of smoke... I'm only burning the normal quart per 1000 miles... Am I burning up coolant or do I have a leak somewhere? is the red line smoke normal?

Redline smoke isn't normal... Do a seach on the forum, as this topic has some fairly good coverage... It doesn't sound good but do some tests (they should be covered in the archives) And hope its just somethin else

Cheers,
Evan

Hunt for leaks first! IS car hard to start? Use a coolant presure tester at 13psi and see if it leaks. This will tell you if you have a coolant leak. But for sure its a leak. If it is a seal this will help you. http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/ro...oolantfix.html
It worked for me 2! and I had a bad seal leak in the front rotor.

So I started having overheating problems today and I was like WTF? I had just recently reinstalled the tuners on my mufflers (without em the bitz is just too loud ugh) and thought maybe i was getting a backup on exhaust... still new to rotary so I was just taking wild guesses... then again it was really hot today... I pull into the laundromat to do my laundry and there's antifreeze leaking out of my car...

I pop the hood and out of the coolant res there's a stream of antifreeze juss spittin out of it... rather impressive with the range it got... so ****.. there's where all my coolant is going... well, as if that wasn't enough.. turns out the ******* i bought it from put a single hose input on the res. So all it had was the thermo hose hooked up to it and it fed coolant in, but no coolant was being sucked back out and back into the radiator... oh the little things we over look... I even put fluid in that res when i first got the car... didn't think twice...

Needless to say I'm relieved yet pissed it was something so simple... now for something a lil more complicated...

the antifreeze is kinda pinkish even though i've fed an awful lot of green antifreeze into it... Kinda not wanting to hear that it's oil, but any ideas? Anyone ever seen pink antifreeze? I thought I had once, but then again I could have been dreamin...
