Coolant Guage HELP!

I've been experiencing my temperature gauge intermittently working and not working. On a cold start, it will slowly rise a little bit, but once the car is moving and warmed up, the temperature gauge drops as if it's disconnected.

I was thinking this could be a loose connection in speaking with Karack, but I have been unable to locate the sender for the gauge. I was instructed to look below the oil filter, around the oil pressure sender, but I was unable to find it. Does anybody have pics or a diagram of what I should be looking for? I tried the online FSM's and was unable to find anything under "Cooling" or "Engine Electrical"

I will be needing to drive my car 150 miles to have Rotary Evolution install my LT8s, and in 90 degree weather, it would make me incredibly uneasy to not have a functioning gauge. I know this is a total noob question, so please be easy on me.

Thanks in advance!

Jaime

ok look right near the oil pressure sending unit and to the left of it you should see i think its one wire running to it it will be sticking out from the housing and it has one nipple on it the should be what you are looking for check the wire connection to it if it is loose it will give you a bunk sig hope that helps pm me and let me know it it helps
