KY converting my 89 auto

this is my first rx7, sports car, and project all rolled into one. i rescued this car from some rednecks that were abusing her, and the automatic trans that was in it was stuck in first, and their is some body damage( still looking for someone to do that work, bodywork sucks)

any way i started out with the fsm and rotary resurrection write up about doing this swap, and both were very helpful except when the writeup told me to take apart the dash to get the clutch petal. FYI, dont do that!!!! anyone thinking about this, the bolt the petals rock on slips out, and there is plenty of room.

shortly after i started on this project, my Gdad, who i took to go get the car, asked me to go look at a car too. turned out to be a red 88 vert 5speed with a blown rotary. he said that he really liked mine, and wanted one too. he decided sence the rotary was aready blown, and i needed a trans he would put a chevy 350 he had, and give me the trans(i know how you guys are, but he's oldschool, and thats what he likes)

anyway heres my photobucket of it

its been fun, but the next problem i need to tackle is the irradic idle that shifts up or down every half a second or so. im wondering if i can use the throttle position sensor of the blown s4 engine on my s5...

No

Props for dedication

The idle *could* be caused by the trans if its stuck into gear. Or a vacuum leak, etc.
