Convertible top Removal?

Convertible top Removal?
So I had to tear half of my interior up just to get to the shock towers to install my coilovers.
And since I have an extra convertible top, and mine is torn to ****, I figured I would replace it. Most of the stuff looks pretty straight forward for removal. I pulled off most of my tenflax fasteners, with the exception for the first one, on either side. It seems like they have bolts or something on the inside, but I cant verify cuz that spot must be made for baby hands, it's such a tight fit. Anyone have pointers on how to get those off??
Gotta get it done before Sevenstock :p

Yes the first tenflax fasteners are bolt like...they have no real head though ;ike a normal bolt that you can get a wrench on or anything BUT... the good news is it is not a bolt hole that they are in it is actually a open ended channel that you slide forward and lift. Ahotherwards remove the other fasteners then loosen the last front one that we are talking about best you can then pull forward on the top until you can lift it out of channel . once the top is off you can get a grip on the "bolt"
Hope this makes sense.
I have another tip as I have done the top 3 times now. Get the right original seal tape from Mazda for replacement . It is available still with correct bolt holes etc. and not that expensive and truly is the best way to reseal around the car body and top. It is actually 2 strips, one that sticky tapes to the top and the other to the body. It is a special sponge like material that when the 2 pieces meet makes a true waterproof seal. Sure there are other cheater ways but this is the best and original method.
I actually have an extra brand new in box vinyl top (black) rainguards etc that i don't need if anyone is interested...
If you take your time and use your head and are really carefull and pay attention to details replacing the top is not that difficult to do...

Yeah I ended up getting it off. After I took off all the other support brackets under the inside cloth, I was able to lift up most of the top and get my hands in there to remove them.
After that, I saw what you said, the hole is open, where you can just slide them out. Well install should go smoother than removal. I just hope this top lasts a while.
