convertible top leaking
I just picked up an 88 vert rained last night and found two puddles on my seats. Looks like its coming from where the window and the top mess the A pillar. Did the research found this is common but no one says how they fixed the problem. Also where can I find replacement door/ weather seals?

It's the rubber gutters not in alignment (too low from the top of the A pillar or pulled away from the channel flopping down) so can't catch the drips or torn and water is flowing through the rubber gutter.
1. Loosen the press in gutters and move them as high as possible on the A Pillar. Slide the gutter under the channel ridge. Best to use some silicone adhesive to help is stay there.
2. If the gutter is torn, seal with silicone.

If I leave the vert out in a texas thurderstorm with wind and downpour, I still get water inside.

What I have found, especially on the driver's side, is that this 'gutter' had drooped down and in towards the inside of the car. This way, instead of catching and directing the water that WILL (by design) get into your car down the drain channel, it falls on your seat, armrest, window controls, etc.
My fix was to check for leaks / tears as others have suggested, and then prop it out and up, away from the A-pillar. You'll want to test the exact positioning and extent of movement away from the pillar because you'll get to a point where when you close the door, the door will crush the gutter. Once you have it propped and in place where it functions well, silicone in place to finish. I found a good, flexible, black-colored type at the hardware store....made for roofing, I believe. Look around to find something that will fit the application well.

Both my cups are siliconed up in to the correct position. It helps.
