Thumbs up Cone FILTER!

I just installed my cone filter with my adapter and i noticed there was this plug that connected to the stock airbox. Do i need to get a mini filter for that also? right now i just have a sock over it to sort of filter out the air. Also do i need to take out the rest of the stock air filter stuff such as the plastic thing that brought air to the stock airbox? Or should i leave it alone.

My car has a lot better throttle response now. I havent had much time to test it out but i feel more power in the high end (probably my imagination)

The sound is a lot cleaner sounding but i thought it would make my car seem deeper.

Thanks for reading

Is that "plug" a thick 1 inch tube? If it is that is for the airpump and you should get a crankcase breather filter for it.

You should make a sealed cold air box or heatshield for the cone filter or you will be negating any benefits you get by sucking in hot air from the engine bay.

Like said above if it is connected to a PUMP thing it needs a breather filter.

You can remove the duct because it is designed to work with a SEALD system which is no longer present. it will not be doing anything but taking up space.

BTW if you want to upgrad to a TRU cold air intake check out our site in my sig.
