Concerns/questions about idle, after removing airpump/ACV

first off, the car is an S4 - 88 gxl n/a to be precise. i removed my air pump and acv a couple days ago and used the block off plate supplied along with RTV to seal up the hole. since then my car has dropped in idle a bit. i adjusted the idle screw as far as it could go without hissing, then i adjusted another screw, no clue what its called though. for awhile i thought it was the TPS but i dont think so.... a pic of it is towards the end of this post, if anyone can name it for me. anyways, is it normal for the car to drop in idle a tad after the air pump and acv has been removed? here is a pic of my current idle after letting the car warm up:

now, i was also told about a throttle stop screw near the TB which can help me adjust my idle even more. is this the same as the fast idle adjustment screw? i found one (an adjustment screw) near the cruise control cable, but haynes says its for the cam adjustment?? i turned it but nothing happened idle wise, so i put it back how it was. i did find another screw though directly under the UIM. it is literally impossible to get a screwdriver under there to adjust it, and my face was squooshed agains the TB trying to get a peek at it. is this the throttle stop screw or am i looking at the wrong one? it is right near the cam screw.

and my last problem, i capped both nipples leading to and from the double throttle diaphram. when i take off the cap on the white nipple on the water thermo sensor, the car's idle raises. is this a good thing or a bad thing. for me i consider it a good thing, im used to my old car idling at 1200 naturally, but on this car i'm not sure if i'm creating some kind of leak when i remove the cap, thus losing power. is it safe to leave the cap off or should i leave it on? pic of the water thermo sensor. the nipple that went to the double throttle diaphram is on the left side. cap is on it in this pic:

and a pic with the cap off:

and two pics of the double throttle diaphram, now capped at its nipple:

since im on a quest for higher idle, would it be a bad idea leaving this nipple on the water thermo sensor uncapped? or would doing so screw up my engine's potention and possibly causing some kind of leak (vac??)? it does has suction on it fyi.

AND this is the screw i was talking about in my first paragraph, the one i'm not sure what its called. all it has leading from it is an electric wire going to the engine block. it has helped me adjust my idle though. right now though its at its max, which is why im looking for this last 3rd screw

sorry for the small pics >_<
and thanks for the help.

the very bottom picture, is the air fuel mixture screw. this will maually richen or lean out the car. if working properly the idle will drop with it full rich, (turn clockwise) and idle will be higher leaned out. i have noticed with some RX-7's that this does nothing. on mine it did make a differance.

hmmm, interesting. i think i have to turn my the opposite ways you do for the idle to go up/down. i'm not sure, i'll have to do it again and see. does this component have a technical name?

and... anyone else can help out with the other questions in my post?
